Selfish People End Up Having Only Their Self

Some people are so selfish they only have themselves. The people they love die off and they never notice because they are so selfish. The family grow old and that person misses their moments of sunshine and wisdom because they are selfish. Don't be one of them. It's the little moments that no one looks and misses, the maturity of a person's life. If they would only open their eyes and give undivided attention to the people in theirs. That's when you really start living, that when you truly see and care. That is love, true love for family and friends.

People always ask continually: How is married life? Everyday I have a better and meaningful answer as time passes. My husband, Jonathan Barnes, is an amazing man. We have been married for only 3 months, but with everything that we've been through it feels like forever. Some days he gets on my nerves and other days he is as sweet as he wants to be. Comparison.

Comparison is the thief of Joy. When you compare yourself to others, you're not being completely impartial. In fact, you're only thinking of the fruits of their labor. When you walk in other's people shoes, you accept the joys but also their burdens. We envy those who take vacations, have children, are married or single, have free time, a good job, a house and other things that we ourselves do not have. Comparison also brings forth jealously and motivate us to acquire what the other person has, this can also steer us away from Jehovah. Satan uses the 'showy display' to keep us distracted from serving God and putting him first daily. Let us follow His advice found at Galatians 6:4 which says: "But let each one examine his own actions, and then he will have cause for rejoicing in regard to himself alone, and not in comparison with the other person."

Pretty Frightened About Next Appointment With GI Specialist

I have been away from the doctor for about a week now and haven't heard my results. I still have minor digestion pain and not enough to qualify for another crazy pill. I don't know how I am fairing. I have good days and watch what I eat. I don't eat fast food ever. I just eat regular homemade food. My husband gives me good advice. I don't know. I just fear hearing another sad story. Doctors have changed. I hear more and more stories about Doctors pushing medicines on people just to get paid and not really taking care of the people in need. I miss my Doctor Wayne D Meech. He was my grandmother's and mother's doctor and he was my doctor. Three generations, he has seen in my family. He has retired and hopefully living well and beyond his years. He was the best doctor.
